MMC Housing Limited has developed a modern method of house building to serve, principally, the Social Housing sector. Our objective is to deliver a modern, fit for purpose, aesthetically pleasing home, built to exacting engineering standards, focusing on simple, swift construction.
By maximising insulation in the envelope structure, combined with contemporary heating and cooling systems, energy use is minimised and the impact on the environment negligible.
Using Passivhaus principles we have designed the Telegan House to exceed the industry legislative standards, using every available innovation to keep energy consumption to the minimum at a reasonable cost.
Construction Benefits
Manufacturing offsite in a purpose-built local factory removes another hateful aspect of property building. Rather than endless site traffic and Class One heavies, panelised construction is delivered using ingenious stillages on a conventional truck. Assembly is both speedy and clean. The site only requires water supply and sewage clearance. Each home is provided with 1Gb IT supply (as designated by government) to result in a totally connected property.

Environmental Benefits
Our process maximises insulation in the structure, combined with contemporary heating and cooling systems, energy use is minimised and zero impact on the environment. By removing one of the most polluting of house building precepts, concrete footings, we attain the highest level of environmental certification. Instead, using our Screwpile fixing these provide ground-source energy to provide domestic heating.
